Do’s
1. Limit your tweets
2. Space your tweets throughout the day
3. Use DM when you need to reply to one person only
4. Build relationship
5. Unfollow spammers
6. Mix your comments: useful, personal, humoristic, newsy
7. Contribute regularly to the groups you create
8. Use to network
9. Inform your followers that you will be away for a period of time
10. Create a personalized background on your homepage for branding

Don’ts
1. Hug the tweet stream with one tweet after another
2. Use auto-directing messaging
3. Use twitter as a chat room
4. Hard sell
5. Be in for the number game only
6. Criticize publicly
7. Have to follow all your followers
8. Register multiple accounts and tweet same message everywhere
9. Manufactured twittering i.e. several people joining force to push a
blog or someone as part of a marketing plan.
10. Create a series of tweets to deliver one message, use tiny url

So thanks to Twitter and Facebook and soon to be Streamy and EBlizz, it’s really easy to share cool sites that you come across.

Today site: cr.am

God I love it when you use the .xx to finish your name, like chi.mp

Cram will shrink your links to very small links, like tinyurl does but they’ll actually pay your site if you add their toolbar and your users start using them. Cool beans.

Alternatively, there’s tr.im which help shorten your urls and can give you great analytics, but no money.
